Students learn teamwork, and how to work on many different forms of technology. Students can disc jockey on the radio, host television programs, and work behind the scenes with TelePrompTers, audio, technical directing, directing and editing. Many former club members went on to careers in media.
Multimedia Club is a member of MMEA, the Midwest Media Educators Association, which along with NATAS, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (the Emmy® group), gives out scholarships and awards to student work. We are the only media outlet in Norridge and Harwood Heights, so we cover basketball, concerts, news, football, parades, pep assemblies, soccer and weather for the community since 1969.
