DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
Benefits
DECA members receive hands-on experiences utilizing skills that will make them successful in their career. These skills include: leadership, collaboration, dedication to an organization, problem solving skills and communication skills all while implementing business, marketing, hospitality and finance principles. Being a DECA member is highly valued by educational institutions when applying for college.
Events
Annual eBoard Retreat (New York or Florida), Annual Member Retreat (Camp Manitoqua), Regional, State, and National Competitions, Forest Preserve Cleanup (Spring), and other community service opportunities throughout the year.
