Anna Mola (AP Italian Language and Literature) and Taylor Beninati (Italian IV) won 1st and 2nd place respectively in the Italian Consulate’s competition for the promotion Italian language and culture. Anna Mola created a jawdropping canvas (see attached) and Taylor a spectacular video. The Italian government proclaimed next week as National Italian Language Week. Both of these students, and their families, will be honored at the Consulate’s office downtown next Thursday night. Anna has won an all expenses paid trip for a summer study abroad program in Italy. Taylor's prize is TBA. Bravissimo!
