Congratulations to the IHSA Sectional Qualifiers from our RHS Boys Wrestling Team! On Saturday, January 31st, the RHS Boys Wrestling Team travelled to Rickover Naval Academy (Chicago) for the IHSA Regional (2A) competition. Ridgewood had five wrestlers advance from this competition to the IHSA Sectional on February 13th & 14th at Antioch HS (all earning top 4 in their respective weight classes).
The wrestlers advancing (from left to right) are:
Alan Krupinski (Freshman): 2nd place at IHSA Regional - 150 lbs.
Daniel Tsymbala (Senior): 2nd place at IHSA Regional - 175 lbs.
John Tribuzio (Junior): 2nd place at IHSA Regional - 190 lbs.
Mohamad Khater (Senior): 2nd place at IHSA Regional - 138 lbs.
Dino Palmisano (Sophomore): 3rd place at IHSA Regional - 132 lbs.
