Science
Science education at Ridgewood is intended to create scientifically literate citizens who will be able to function in an increasingly technological world. Students will gain an understanding of how science creates new understandings, the limitations of science, and how it applies to their daily lives.
Math
Mathematics education is intended to advance students' understanding of mathematics for life-long application. Students will develop their reasoning strategies and critical thinking skills to solve problems. Their studies throughout the mathematics curriculum will enable students to explore situations numerically, graphically and algebraically, and to articulate connections between mathematical models and solutions.
Career and Technology Education
CTE courses offered within these areas of study help students develop skills that are necessary to become productive members of the workforce. Courses offer students an opportunity to explore career opportunities as they move from introductory to advanced curriculum.
