In 2012, Ridgewood High School administration and teachers began exploring various options for a one-to-one digital learning program. It was determined by the school Technology Committee with input from teachers, students, school administrators, community members as well as Board Members that the Apple iPad was the best choice for Ridgewood High School. In 2013, Ridgewood was the recipient of a $250,000 iPad grant from the Norwood Park Township. This grant made it possible for Ridgewood High School to implement the 1:1 iPad initiative for the 2014-2015 school year. Ridgewood is recognized nationally as an Apple Distinguished School.
